The set was amazing and huge.

Paris fashion week:John Galliano Spring/Summer 2011
John Galliano's inspiration is always peculiar and interesting.
This season's muse was 1920's actress Maria Lani who infiltrated the Paris art scene.
In 2 years she managed to convince 50 artists to paint her portrait on the excuse that it would be used in a horror movie in which she was starring about paintings that came to life.
The movie never happened and she fled to America with the portraits that were never sold.
Layers and layers of print and colors.20's inspired hair and makeup.
Slouchy and bohemian fit,all and all effortless chic that the French do best.
The show stoppers were:
two white organza gowns ornated with beading and feathers.
Amazing!
The most wearable pieces in the collection were:trench coats and little jackets that were layered over sheer ensembles.

Viktor&Rolf is about spectacle,innovation and theatrics.
The looks were very dramatic and tailored to perfection.
Very immaginative and creative collection,downside?
Don't know how wearable the very theatrical clothes are?The simpler
pieces are totally wearable.
Then again this doesn't mean to be a concern for the designers.

This cover was criticized by a lot of people because Lara has a gap between her teeth.
It was said that "dentals are obviously not a concern in the UK".
I just think those people are being really bitchy.
