Fashion victims..

Oscar De La Renta introduced the concept/term "fashion victim".

He predicted that fashion women would suffer from fashion obsession.

A fashion victim doesn t always have a sense of style he/she just considers it trivial to follow the latest trends.

The first fashion victims were the 18th century French women.These women wore light chiffon kerchiefs in winter frost and many of them got colds and died.As time passed the situation worsened.

Today you can consider yourself a fashion victim if:

-you are brand obsessed:you can spend your entire salary on a Louis Vuitton,Gucci...bag and then live the whole month being broke.

- It is a must for you to have fashionable pieces from the latest collections,those old collection pieces do nothing for you!

- You are inspired and copy the style of fashion icons without questioning it.

- Natural beauty means nothing to you.

- You spend days shopping and love it.

- You love makeup,have fake eyelashes dye your hair and/or have hair extensions.

I hate to admit this but based on what I just wrote it seems like I might be one!!!hahah LOL
