Spring 2011 fashion trends

As new york fashion week has come to an end here are some trends we managed to distinguish.

This fashion week was all about spring and summer wear.

Jeans:
Wide legs and flares are back.Spotted from Derek Lam to Reem Acra runways.

The high waist flare look is more flattering than skinny jeans that have been in fashion these last few years.

Pair these jeans with a chunky platform heel,to make your legs look never ending..LOL

Sheer:

Sheer fabrics were seen on some runway shows.

From the camis at Charlotte Ronsons to the gauze trousers at Marc Jacobs.

Not a big fan of the see through look but if you must wear this trend pair it up with a big color and remain top trend this spring.

Gray:

Neutrals are still a big trend but in addition to the previous season's nude and camels designers have chosen to explore a cooler side with grays.Love the way waterfall cut jackets work with sheer fabrics while managing to give shape at the waist.

Leopard and Python:

Leopard was the animal print of choice but Python managed to prevail on the runways too..

From the purple python dress seen on Thakooon to the body conscious skirts and dresses seen at Joseph Altuzzura snakeskin will be sexing your outfits up this spring.
